Our team continues to meet and discuss how we are going to move ahead with the COVID-19 outbreak. Per California law, we have decided to remain open for business to serve our valued customers.

What age bracket is buying the C8?

There are no official numbers, but according to a Canadian salesperson, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette buyers are skewing way younger. The highest purchasing group he is seeing are people in their 40’s, with people in their 30’s being the second highest group. This is what we are seeing here at Corvette Mike also.

Not only are younger people buying the C8, but they are also trading in some of the standard luxury/performance cars. This dealer has gotten in 2006 Gen 2 Ford GT, Lamborghini Gallardo, Vipers, and even a DB9. He is also selling to a lot of people who want to add to their collection of Ferrari’s and Lamborghini’s.

Even with all of Mike’s connections, there is still no word on when production will start back up. Could all the 2020’s be produced and shipped already? There is a chance that the factory may not start up until later this spring and just move straight over to the 2021 model year production.
