Danny Proctor, owner of a 1963 Grand Sport Corvette replica — representing one of the rarest automobiles in America — roars into Jefferson, Texas, for the Big Cypress Corvette Classic Car Show from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
More than 100 Corvettes are expected to line the town’s historic brick streets for the largest Corvette-only show in the region.
Hollis Shadden, show organizer, said, “The ’63 Grand Sport Corvette ranks among the most sought after vintage automobiles in the United States — an owner of one of the five remaining originals turned down a bid of $4.9 million a few years ago. To see a version of the car is a real treat. Plus, we’re expecting a great line-up of ‘Vettes across all six generations.”
