The term “Barn Find” has been used and overused to describe anything from an abandoned classic and vintage pieces of buried (under car covers, boxes and other debris) treasure to considerable less desirable automobilia that hardly qualify. However, we believe this ’69 is a perfect example of a great barn find, or in this case, garage find! Sitting untouched since 1980, this all original Corvette big block Convertible was just recently “unearthed” by Corvette Mike right here in the cars home town of San Diego California! He purchased it from the second owner who had owned it since 1970! It’s all there and completely restorable. The frame is beautiful and rust free, as is the rest of the undercarriage. It’s got great options including Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, AM/FM Radio, both Soft and Hard (added) Tops and the Highly Sought-After Factory Side Exhaust! The documentation is also excellent and includes the Protect-O-Plate, an almost perfect Tank Sticker, Owner’s Kit, Service Receipts dating back to the early ’70’s and a detailed mileage log, from almost mile one!!
