One of One and Done! Tuxedo Black w/Saddle interior, Saddle soft top, 327/375hp fuel injected, 4-spd manual transmission.
By 1965 Corvette was really coming into it’s own. There were engine choices galore and milestones to be achieved. Such as, the introduction of the mighty 396cu big block and standard 4-wheel disc brakes. The mechanical fuel injected 327ci small block made it’s swan song in ’65.
There are many “rare and special” Corvettes out there. Some more so than others. But not only does that term apply to our featured car, we’ll go one step further and declare it 1 of 1!! The ’65 fuel injected Convertible is the rarest Corvette to leave the factory that year. But, the unique options this car has makes it a stand-alone ’65!
This very original “fuelie” was sold twice by us previously and recently traded in on a rare ’63 ZO6 Tanker from a 100 car collection. Other than one repaint and new carpeting, it’s basically as it was when it left St. Louis 51 years ago!
