The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Monterey Car Week 2023 starts on Friday, August 11th and concludes on Sunday, August 20th with the 72 year anniversary Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, an unmatched tradition of automotive excellence.
Last August, Pierre Fillon, president of L’Automobile Club de l’Ouest, invited the Pebble Beach Concours to kick off a year of celebrations leading up to the Le Mans centennial. The centennial trophy was unveiled on the Pebble Beach Concours awards ramp, racing greats—from Jacky Ickx and Henri Pescarolo to Jochen Mass, Lyn St. James, Justin Bell and nine-time-winning Tom Kristensen—were on hand to share their memories. And showcased 27 Le Mans race cars, including 14 overall winners on the competition field.
