LSx-Powered Savage GTR Unveiled At Top Marques Show In Monaco

In the world of high-end automobiles, most people consider countries like Italy and England to be the crucible of the world’s exotic supercars. But in recent years a number of exclusive car dealers have popped up in Holland, including Savage Rivale, makers of the Savage Roadyacht GTS, a supercar powered by a GM-sourced 6.2 liter V8 engine.

Autoblog reports that Savage unveiled a new, track-going version of the Roadyacht called the GTR, and it makes due with a turbocharged 6.2 liter V8 cranking out a stump-pulling 700 horsepower. Savage Rivale has been making powerful “Roadyachts” for a few years now, but this latest creation took the stage at the famed Top Marques show in Monaco. With the 700 horsepower 6.2 liter turbocharged V8 under the hood, Savage claims the GTR can go from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds, quicker than it took you to read this sentence.

The top speed of the Savage GTR is an estimated 234 mph, faster than everything save a handful of hyper-exotics. And none of those are convertible 4-door supercars, like the GTR is. Oh, did we forget to mention that it is a hardtop convertible? Ya, that’s pretty damn awesome if you ask us…who doesn’t want to feel the wind in their face at 200 mph?
