The National Corvette Museum has found another way for people to get that Corvette feeling. From March through October of this year, they are offering to give rides in your choice of a Museum owned Corvette!
Offered Monday-Saturday starting at 9am and ending at 3pm (or booked up), you can choose to take a ride in one of three Corvettes: a 1966 Rally Red Convertible 327, 1979 Corvette Red Coupe or 2003 50th Anniversary Convertible. The price is $20 for a 3-mile loop (10-15 minutes). Rides may fill up fast, so reserve your ride at our Admissions counter upon arrival.
Want to go a bit faster? Then a trip across the street may be in order. The National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park is less than two miles from the Museum and offers the chance for you to do a “Hot Lap” where one of their professional drivers will take you for a spin in a Corvette around the track with average speeds topping 100 MPH. You need to contact them in advance (justin@motorsportspark.org or 270-777-4509) to make sure the track is available and that there is an opening.
